Jordan Reid

NFL Draft Analyst
Jordan Reid joined ESPN in 2021 as a college football and NFL Draft analyst. A multi-platform contributor for its NFL Draft coverage, Reid makes year-round appearances on SportsCenter, ESPN Radio, Get Up!, Mock Draft specials, NFL Live, and ESPN.com.
Attending marquee college football games throughout the season, Reid covers the game from all angles to provide detailed scouting information and analysis on players throughout the country. Reid also covers college all-star games, and the NFL Scouting Combine, in addition to constructing mock drafts and ranking boards leading up to the annual event each year.
Prior to joining ESPN, Reid was a national scout and writer for The Draft Network from 2019-2021, a start-up college football and NFL draft scouting platform. There, he was responsible for mock drafts, in-depth background stories, and scouting reports about college prospects.
Prior to his shift to the media, Reid was a coach and recruiting coordinator at his alma mater, North Carolina Central University, from 2014-2018, helping the Eagles win three MEAC titles.
His move to coaching followed his playing career (2010-2013), where he started for three seasons at quarterback and achieved the school record for completion percentage, a mark he still holds today.
A native of High Point, North Carolina, Reid received a bachelor’s and master’s degree from North Carolina Central University. Reid and his wife, Erica, have two kids, McKenna and McKenzie.
