Mark Schlabach is a golf and college football reporter for ESPN.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Schlabach previously worked at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Washington Post. He is the author or co-author of more than two dozen books, including a handful of New York Times bestsellers.

He is a struggling golfer, proving you don’t have to be good at a sport to write and report about it. When he isn’t covering the PGA TOUR or LIV Golf, he’s probably cutting grass or picking up pecan tree limbs in Georgia.

A native of Culver, Ind., Schlabach and his wife, Heather, have three children.
