Mike Couzens joined ESPN in 2012, and serves as a play-by-play commentator across college sports and high school basketball. He is currently one of the lead play-by-play voices for ESPN college football on ESPN Radio.

Couzens was a play-by-play broadcaster for the Big Ten Network and also served as the broadcasting and media relations manager for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, the Single-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres.

He also has experience at a variety of other sports media outlets, including play-by-play for University of Vermont women’s basketball, radio play-by-play and media relations for Dayton Dragons baseball, play-by-play for the Syracuse Chiefs and was also an associate web content producer for ABC News Radio.

The White Plains, N.Y., native graduated in 2010 from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a bachelor of science degree in broadcast journalism.
