College Football Analyst

Pat McAfee joined ESPN as a college football analyst, and worked on Thursday Night primetime games, reuniting him with former Colts teammate Matt Hasselback, and play-by-play commentator Adam Amin and reporter Molly McGrath. He is also a regular contributor on Get Up, College GameDay Built by The Home Depot and other ESPN shows.

McAfee played football at West Virginia University, earning accolades that include Lou Groza Award semi-finalist, Ray Guy Award finalist, All-American honors, and the all-time leader in points. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, and played eight season in the NFL before retiring in 2017. Widely considered one of the best punters in the league, he was a two-time Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro during his career.

In addition to his role at ESPN, McAfee is a small business owner, entrepreneur, and stand-up comedian. He is the host of the nationally syndicated “Pat McAfee Show,” which airs on Westwood One, and the host of the popular podcast “The Pat McAfee Show 2.0.” His unique blend of humor, insight and intelligence perfectly coalesce whenever he is on a microphone.
