Phil Murphy anchors SportsCenter for ESPN International and has served as a sideline reporter at Super Bowls, NBA Finals, World Series and UFC events. Murphy also hosts various editions of SportsCenter in the United States, as well as sport-specific studio programming.

Murphy also contributes to ESPN’s industry-leading social platforms, having regularly hosted SportsCenter on Snapchat, Baseball Tonight Live and SportsNation. Murphy also contributes to ESPN’s telecasts of American Kennel Club (AKC) dog sports as a host and reporter.

Prior to joining ESPN International in 2017, Murphy served as a digital producer and reporter for ESPN’s coverage of college football, college basketball and recruiting.

Murphy graduated from George Mason University, where he received bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Marketing, in addition to a minor in Economics.
