Sebastian Martinez-Christensen serves as sports reporter and analyst for ESPN Deportes and ESPN in Latin America covering a wide variety of sports including NFL, NBA, NCAA Basketball, soccer and tennis. He is also the game analyst for ESPN Deportes’ coverage of Monday Night Football.

Based in Miami, Martinez-Christensen serves as correspondent for major sporting events in the area and regularly contributes to the programming across NFL, NBA and college sports including NBA Esta Noche, the NBA and NFL Drafts. He is also a recurrent analyst across ESPN’s most recognized Spanish-language shows like Sportscenter, Cronómetro, Ahora o Nunca, and Jorge Ramos y su Banda, among others in ESPN’s extensive programming grid.

Martinez-Christensen is also known for his popular weekly column on ESPNDeportes.com and ESPN.com in Latin America, “El Gurú de las Diagonales” which he has been doing for over two decades.

Since joining ESPN in 2003, Martinez-Christensen has covered some of the top sporting events in the world. He has served as reporter and analyst for all NFL Super Bowls and NBA Finals since 2009, and regularly contributes to tennis coverage including Wimbledon and U.S. Open. His connection to soccer has also led him to cover international tournaments such as the UEFA European Championship, FIFA World Cup qualifiers and several LaLiga ElClasico matches.

Martinez-Christensen has a degree in Communications from Universidad Austral in Argentina.
