Tori Petry is a college football sideline reporter for ESPN, currently in her fourth full season. She joined ESPN in 2021 and contributes across ESPN’s college football coverage, delivering in-game reporting, interviews and feature storytelling. Petry first got her start at ESPN as a production intern in Summer 2012.

Prior to ESPN, Petry served as a multimedia journalist for the Detroit Lions for seven years, where she worked as a sideline reporter, feature reporter, host and analyst for detroitlions.com. In addition to her digital responsibilities, she appeared regularly on the Lions’ official pregame and postgame shows on FOX 2 News and FOX Sports Detroit, covering the team across multiple platforms.

A Florida native, Petry has combined her lifelong passion for sports and storytelling throughout her career. A top-ranked swimmer in the state of Florida, she qualified for and competed in multiple national-level meets before discovering broadcasting in high school. Her interest in sports media was solidified when she won a National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Student Award for Sports Package in her high school television productions class.

Petry is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she reported for WUFT-TV, covering Gator football and the 2013 National Championship gymnastics team. She also served as a motorsports reporter for Florida Sports Talk Radio, covering NASCAR, NHRA, and other auto racing events, while making weekly radio appearances and hosting a community lifestyle television show, My Ocala TV. In addition to her broadcasting work, Petry is the founder of Cambria Content, a content creation agency based in Boulder, Colo.
