Vincent Goodwill is a senior NBA writer at ESPN, providing national coverage of the league as well as in-depth reporting on the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets. He joined ESPN in September 2025.

A Detroit native, Goodwill began his career writing features for SLAM Magazine before returning home to cover the Detroit Pistons for The Detroit News. He then moved to NBC Sports Chicago as the Bulls beat writer and insider. In 2018, he joined Yahoo Sports as a senior NBA writer, where he covered the league nationally and produced analysis, breaking news and long-form features until his move to ESPN.

Goodwill attended Eastern Michigan University and has earned a reputation as a respected voice in NBA media, known for his insightful reporting, sharp analysis and narrative-driven storytelling.
