ESPN Films Latest Documentary The Fab Five To Air Sunday, March 13

ESPN Films documentary The Fab Five, produced by Three Tier Entertainment and directed by Jason Hehir, will air Sunday, March 13, at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN. The two-hour film highlights the five University of Michigan freshman — Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson, Jalen Rose and Chris Webber — who led one of the most famous (and infamous) teams in college basketball history.

Jalen Rose on the final product:We really went in depth about everything: the good, the bad, the ugly, the scandal, how we felt people saw us and we’re really excited about how the film came outFor those that had no clue about the Fab Five until they sit down and watch this documentary, they are going to get a wealth of knowledge about what made us tick. But for those who didn’t like us, I think this is going to make it worse.”

Rose on UM’s rivalry with Duke:Duke represented the opposite of what we did. Yes, Christian Laettner was a terrific player. I got to respect his game when I got on the floor with him, but a player like that represented exactly the opposite of what we ended up representing, so, it was like two forces of nature. When we played against them it was like good versus evil.”
