Game Three Viewership Up Six Percent Peaking with 18.6 Million Viewers
Through three games, the 2014 NBA Finals are averaging 14,921,000 viewers per game, up five percent versus last year’s Finals through three games (14,278,000 viewers). The games are averaging a 9.0 U.S. household rating, up five percent versus last year’s Finals through three games (8.6 U.S. household rating).
NBA Finals Game Three averaged 14,775,000 viewers, up five percent from Game Three in 2013. The broadcast peaked with 18,569,000 million viewers from 11:30-11:45 p.m. ET. Game Three generated a 9.0 U.S. household rating, up six percent from last year’s corresponding game.
The success of NBA Finals Game Three helped propel ABC to win the night in rating and viewership across all of television for the 40th consecutive time.
