College Football: Two of Top Five Ranked Teams against Ranked Foes on Schedule

ESPN’s college football game schedule for this week will include five of the top eight teams in the Associated Press poll, highlighted by two against ranked opponents:
- ESPN will kick off the action with a SEC vs. Big 12 matchup pitting No. 5 Auburn at No. 20 Kansas State on the weekly Thursday night series September 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
- ABC Saturday Night Football on September 20 will feature an ACC showdown between defending national champion No. 1 Florida State and No. 22 Clemson at 8 p.m.
ESPN will televise two of the top eight ranked teams in prime time on Saturday, Sept. 20: No. 8 LSU against undefeated Mississippi State at 7 p.m. followed by No. 2 Oregon at Washington State at 10:30 p.m. ESPN will also carry undefeated No. 21 BYU against Virginia at 3:30 p.m. and kick off the day with Georgia Tech at Virginia Tech at noon. Additional highlights for Saturday, Sept. 20:
- SEC Network will offer a tripleheader with a ranked team in each game: No. 13 Georgia against Troy at noon, No. 18 Missouri against Indiana at 4 p.m. and No. 14 South Carolina at Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m.
- ABC will provide a split national telecast of No. 6 Texas A&M at SMU and Utah at Michigan at 3:30 p.m. with reverse mirror coverage on ESPN2.
- ESPN2 will televise two non-conference matchups featuring a ranked team in each: No. 19 Wisconsin against Bowling Green at noon and No. 24 Nebraska against Miami (Fla.), which will also be broadcast on ESPN Radio, at 8 p.m.
ESPN Goal Line network will offer unlimited live cut-ins and highlights from numerous top college football games every Saturday noon to midnight. Zubin Mehenti will host the coverage with analyst Pete Najarian.
Every ESPN, ABC, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, ESPN3, SEC Network and Longhorn Network game will be available through WatchESPN, accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app, through ESPN on Xbox LIVE, Amazon FireTV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast and Roku devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
Big Ten Under the Lights
Nebraska against Miami (September 20 at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 and ESPN Radio) will kick off a schedule of six Saturday night telecasts involving a Big Ten team on an ESPN network in eight weeks. Additional games: Nebraska at Michigan State (October 4 at 8 p.m. on ESPN, ABC or ESPN2), Penn State at Michigan (October 11 at 7 p.m. on ESPN or ESPN2), Penn State against Ohio State (October 25 at 8 p.m. on ESPN, ABC or ESPN2), Illinois at Ohio State (November 1 at 8 p.m. on ESPN, ABC or ESPN2) and Ohio State at Michigan State (November 8 at 8 p.m. on ABC).
