New ESPN New York 98.7FM Lineup Debuts September 29

Two-hour Daily Show for Lupica; Daughtry’s Role Grows – Host of SportsCenter Weekday Updates from 12-3 & The Bill Daughtry Show Expands to Four Hours Every Saturday; Hahn & DiPietro Permanent Evening Duo

ESPN Radio New York 98.7FM will debut a revamped lineup Monday, Sept. 29, highlighted by Lupica, a new two-hour show hosted by Mike Lupica and broadcast from 1 – 3 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. 98.7FM hosts Ryan Ruocco and Dave Rothenberg will host a new daily program from noon – 1 p.m.  Ruocco will also bring his perspective to The Michael Kay Show as he becomes an additional contributor to the four-hour show.

Alan Hahn and former Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro, who began working at 98.7FM August 11, will permanently host Monday through Friday from 7 – 10 p.m.

New York sports veteran Bill Daughtry’s role will expand – while continuing to host New York Knicks broadcasts, he will now provide daily SportsCenter updates from noon – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and The Bill Daughtry Show will double in length to four hours every Saturday, starting October 4, running each week from 8 a.m. – noon.

“These changes strengthen an already powerful personality driven lineup on 98.7FM,” said Justin Craig, program director, ESPN Radio NY 98.7FM. “Two hours of Mike Lupica’s passion and opinions, additional opportunities for Bill Daughtry, Ryan Ruocco and Dave Rothenberg, and the new team of Alan Hahn and Rick DiPietro, whose chemistry was evident from day one, reinforce our commitment to serve sport fans.”
