New ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown Studio Campaign Shows How Football Fans “Count on Countdown”

Following the kickoff of the 2014 NFL season and the launch of ESPN’s new state-of-the-art NFL studio, ESPN has launched a new campaign for Sunday NFL Countdown, showing how fans across the country rely on the program for all the latest news and information around the league on pro football Sundays.
Featuring the tagline “Count On Countdown,” the series of spots showcases how players and fans alike depend on ESPN’s three-hour weekly NFL pregame show. The first 30-second commercial features Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro running back LeSean McCoy preparing for a game by following Countdown in his hotel, on his way to the stadium and in the training room. Additional spots will star football fans from across the country with remarkable stories, such as Quin Kilgore’s Tattoo League of Omaha, Neb., whose unique style of penalizing fantasy losers became notorious following a Countdown feature.
The “Count on Countdown” campaign was developed in collaboration with creative agency 72 and Sunny.
Sunday NFL Countdown is ESPN’s signature NFL studio show, airing weekly at 10 a.m. ET with host Chris Berman, analysts Cris Carter, Mike Ditka, Tom Jackson, Keyshawn Johnson and Ray Lewis, and Insiders Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter.
