ESPN is hosting its 11th annual Super Bowl event, ESPN The Party on Friday, Jan. 30, in Scottsdale, Arizona. In conjunction with the release of ESPN The Magazine’s MUSIC issue, the event will celebrate the love affair between sports and music. ESPN The Party will feature live special performances by platinum-selling hip-hop artist, J.Cole and 2015 Grammy Award Nominee Charli XCX along with music by DJ Questlove and SOSUPERSAM. ESPN will take over Scottsdale’s Westworld within their newest venue, the North Hall — to create its signature annual Super Bowl experience.

The 117,000 square foot space will be transformed into a mid-century modern home with life-sized rock walls and formations. It will also include 700 linear feet of projection mapping of sunsets and sunrises in a desert setting.  Guests can follow the action all night at ESPN’s Microsite www.espntheparty.com presented by Mercedes-Benz and use #ESPNTHEPARTY to chat with fans as well as athletes, celebrities, brands, and VIPs in the house.

The invite-only event will also feature creative and interactive activations from sponsors: Ciroc, Coors Light, Curve Sport, Dunkin’ Donuts, Mercedes-Benz, Jockey, Nike Golf, Omnia Nightclub by Hakkasan Group, and partners Full Swing Golf, GoViva, Riddell Helmets, the V Foundation for Cancer Research, and Fiji Water.

Guests will enjoy a night filled with music, surprises and experiences. This includes enjoying custom beverages from Coors Light and Ciroc from the Diageo portfolio, hot coffee and donuts from a Dunkin’ Donuts truck, checking out new rides from Mercedes-Benz and customizing t-shirts at DIY stations, enjoying samples of Curve Sport, testing their swing with Nike Golf, and the opportunity to bid  on  sports memorabilia autographed by our music issue stars  during a silent auction to benefit the V Foundation Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund. Attendees will also be provided with free shuttle bus transportation from the event, courtesy of GoViva.
