The Caribbean Series Final Cuba vs. Mexico is ESPN Deportes’ Most-Watched Baseball Game Ever

The 2015 Series is the second most-watched Caribbean Series 

ESPN Deportes’ coverage of the Caribbean World Series (Feb 2-8, 2015), featuring baseball winter league teams from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, delivered strong ratings for the network. On its second year back in the Series since its return after 52 years, Cuba wins with 3-2 over Mexico, scoring the most-watched baseball telecast ever on ESPN Deportes, and the most-watched Caribbean Series telecast ever among Hispanic P2+ with 277,000viewers – surpassing the 2013 WBC Final Puerto Rico vs. Dominican Republic (236,000 viewers). The game which took place on Feb. 8, delivered a 1.0 Hispanic Household rating, making it the second highest-rated Series game ever.

ESPN Deportes’ live telecast of all 13 games and Opening Ceremony averaged a 0.4 Hispanic household rating and 91,000 Hispanic viewers (+P2), becoming the second most-watched Caribbean Series ever – behind the 2014 event.

This was ESPN Deportes ninth consecutive telecast of the Caribbean Series.
