No. 3 Texas Volleyball releases TV information and match times for 2015

Texas will play 18 matches on TV and all home matches televised by Longhorn Network

AUSTIN, Texas – Longhorn Network and ESPNU will televise 18 of the Texas Volleyball regular season matches, including all of the Longhorns’ home matches in 2015.

Longhorn Network will televise every Texas home game (16 games) and eight additional tournament games taking place at Gregory Gymnasium as part of the three tournaments Texas hosts to start the season.

ESPNU will televise Texas’ road matchup at Baylor on October 7 (6 p.m. CT) and at Kansas State on October 21 (6 p.m. CT) to round out the television schedule.

The Longhorns will open their season vs. Rice as part of the American Campus Classic, on Friday, Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. at Gregory Gymnasium, live on Longhorn Network. The first match of the classic will be the same day between LSU and UC-Irving (2:30 p.m.) and also televised on the Longhorn Network.

Texas will also host the VERT Classic, featuring two top-five opponents in No. 4 Florida and No. 5 Nebraska on Friday, Sept. 4 and Saturday, Sept. 5 before hosting the Texas Classic on Sept. 11 and 13. They will then travel to Tucson, Ariz. for the Arizona Tournament on Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19. Following the trip to Arizona, Texas will begin Big 12 action where they will play each conference opponent twice, rounding out the regular season on November 28 at Oklahoma.
