2015-2016 NFL Season Returns to ESPN Deportes

ESPN Deportes Radio extends NFL offering, featuring complete MNF season, NFC Championship Game, Super Bowl 50 and Thanksgiving Day game

ESPN Deportes will present live multiplatform coverage of all 17 regular season Monday Night Football’s games, a Wild Card Playoff Game and the Pro Bowl, following its highest-rated season last year. The 46th season kicks off with a doubleheader today, September 14, featuring Philadelphia Eagles vs. Atlanta Falcons at 7:00 p.m. ET and Minnesota Vikings vs. San Francisco 49ers at 10:15 p.m. ET.

Super Bowl XXI and XXV champion Raul Allegre returns as in-game analyst along with play-by-play voice Alvaro Martin. ESPN Deportes’ coverage will feature a Monday night pregame show, NFL Esta Noche, with hosts Eduardo Varela, Pablo Viruega and John Sutcliffe as onsite commentator and reporter. In addition, the network’s weekly highlights show NFL Live desde México returns every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. with commentators Ciro Procuna, Allegre, Sutcliffe and Eitan Benezra.

ESPN Deportes Radio will also continue carrying MNF as part of a new rights extension with NFL. Under the agreement, the Spanish-language radio network will air all 17 MNF games, a Thanksgiving Day game – this year Carolina Panthers vs. Dallas Cowboys-, the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl (2015 and 2017 seasons only). Complete coverage around the games available on Zona ESPN, airing weekdays from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.; Zona Sabatina, Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET; and El Ultimo Pase, Sundays from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. ET.

ESPNDeportes.com will also present extensive coverage throughout the season, featuring live video chats with Sutcliffe prior to MNF games and comprehensive reporting by ESPN’s renowned correspondents. Coverage will also include social interactions and conversations through the hashtag #NFLxESPN and #mnfxespn.
