The No. 13 safety recruit in the country, Brandon Burton, plans to make his college commitment live on the midnight  SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt, kicking off National Signing Day, Wednesday, Feb. 3. Burton is the first of 14 ESPN 300 commitments being covered live throughout the day in the 11^th annual ESPNU National Signing Day Special.

His announcement in midnight (ET) hour of SportsCenter will mark the earliest live Signing Day commitment ESPN has ever covered. Burton lives in California and will be televised from ESPN’s Los Angeles studio.

Burton is deciding between Arizona, Florida State, UCLA and USC.

ESPN previously announced programming details for coverage across five television networks, which included:

• The No. 1 college football recruit on Recruiting Nation’s ESPN 300 list, Rashan Gary, live from the Bristol, CT SportsCenter studio, during the 1 p.m. hour, on SportsCenter and ESPN2. This will mark the fourth-consecutive year the No. 1 player’s college commitment has aired within the ESPNU National Signing Day Special Presented by Nissan (previously announced list)
• On-site reporting at 15 college campuses – including every Top 10 recruiting team
• Programming details for Signing Day specials on ESPNU (8 a.m.-1 p.m.; 5-7 p.m.), SEC Network (10 a.m.-3 p.m.), Longhorn Network (8 – 1 p.m.; 7-8 p.m.) and ESPN2 (1-5 p.m.)

In addition to television plans, ESPN will offer more than 30 streaming options available on computers, smart phones, tablets and connected devices via WatchESPN and the ESPN app. Events include school shows and press conferences, in addition to live simulcasts of ESPNU, ESPN2, SEC Network and Longhorn Network.
