Credentialing Open; Schedule and Media Information for The Home Depot College Football Awards

The 26th edition of The Home Depot College Football Awards will be televised live from the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience in Atlanta on Thursday, Dec. 8, starting with The Red Carpet Special at 6 p.m. ET on ESPNU and the two-hour awards show on ESPN at 7 p.m. More than 20 award finalists will be in attendance along with top coaches and legends of the game to see awards issued to the nation’s top position players and athletes.

Media interested in attending the media availability with nominees on Wednesday, Dec. 7., and/or covering the live telecast on Thursday, Dec. 8, can email [email protected] through Monday, Dec. 5.


UPCOMING ANNOUNCEMENTS
The following schedule outlines upcoming announcements and programming leading into the awards:

  • November 21 – Award finalists announced via press release
  • November 22 – Awards Nomination Special at 5 p.m. ET on ESPNU
  • December 5 – Presenters announced via press release
  • December 7 – Coach of the Year announced via press release


EVENTS
All events are at the College Football Hall of Fame (250 Marietta Street, Atlanta) unless otherwise indicated:

  • December 7
    • 4:30-5 p.m. – Media availability with ESPN analysts
    • 5-6:30 p.m. – Media availability with awards finalists
    • * 8-10 p.m. – Private media screening of the upcoming ESPN Films 30 for 30 Catholics vs. Convicts at STATS restaurant (300 Marietta Street, Atlanta)
  • December 8
    • 5:30-6 p.m. – College Football Playoff head coaches press conference (email Gina Lehe at [email protected] for more information)
    • 6-9 p.m. – The Home Depot College Football Awards live from the College Football Hall of Fame
    • 9-10 p.m. – Championship Drive: College Football Playoff Preview live from the College Football Hall of Fame
