ESPN today announced it has selected two matchups for its exclusive, full-national Sunday Night Baseball presented by Taco Bell schedule in August. On August 6, the National League-leading Los Angeles Dodgers and Cody Bellinger visit the New York Mets and Michael Conforto at Citi Field.
The following week, on August 13, the American League East-leading Boston Red Sox and Mookie Betts travel to the Bronx to take on the New York Yankees and 2017 T-Mobile Home Run Derby champion Aaron Judge.
Dan Shulman will have the call of both games with analysts Jessica Mendoza and Aaron Boone and reporter Buster Olney at 8 p.m. ET. on ESPN. Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown presented by Chevrolet will precede both matchups at 7 p.m. on ESPN. On August 6, Karl Ravech will lead the show with Eduardo Pérez and David Ross. Then, on August 13, Ravech will return with Mark Teixeira and Tim Kurkjian where the trio will be on the field at Yankee Stadium.
On deck: The July 23 edition of ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball, features the defending World Series Champion Chicago Cubs and Anthony Rizzo hosting the St. Louis Cardinals and Dexter Fowler as the two teams battle for second place in the NL Central. Shulman, Boone, Mendoza and Olney will have the call at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
