Eduardo Perez, who was raised in Puerto Rico, will serve as the analyst, while Marly Rivera, who was born in San Juan, will be one of ESPN’s reporters for the game. The duo will join play-by-play voice Karl Ravech and reporter Tim Kurkjian on commentary.
On Sunday, May 6, the defending National League Champion Los Angeles Dodgers and Cody Bellinger will square off with the San Diego Padres and Eric Hosmer on ESPN at 4 p.m. ET. The game will emanate from Estadio de Beisbol in Monterrey, Mexico. Adnan Virk will provide commentary with analyst Eduardo Perez. The telecast will be subject to local blackout restrictions. ESPN and MLB have collaborated to air games in unique and innovative locations several times in recent years, including the historic 2016 spring training game in Cuba and the Fort Bragg Game in 2016, and the MLB Little League Classic in conjunction with Little League International, in 2017, from Williamsport, Pa. The 2018 MLB Little League Classic airs on Sunday Night Baseball, Aug. 19, when the Philadelphia Phillies host the New York Mets.
