ESPN has announced that a daily edition of SportsCenter is coming soon to the ESPN App. The announcement was made today at ESPN’s inaugural NewFront presentation in New York City.
In a continuation of the evolution of ESPN’s signature news and information brand, the video series hosted by Scott Van Pelt and other SportsCenter anchors will be a curation of the top things fans need to see, know and look for in sports. This includes what fans missed last night, top plays and what to expect today, highlighting the array of content from across ESPN. Episodes will feature prominently on each fan’s Home screen every morning upon first opening the ESPN App each day.
The announcement follows the recent launch of a completely reimagined experience of the ESPN App. Already the leading sports app, the new ESPN App is the premier all-in-one digital sports platform for fans and a showcase of the company’s culture of innovation. With a richer, increasingly more personalized experience, the new ESPN App curates all of ESPN’s incredible content into an experience unique to each fan’s individual tastes.
