X Games Norway 2018 Day Three News and Results— Kelvin Hoefler Wins Back-to-Back Men’s Skateboard Street Gold

The Men’s Skateboard Street competition packed the house for an exciting final in front of a sold out crowd at Skur 13 in downtown Oslo to close out the X Games Norway event.

After winning a gold medal in his X Games debut in Minneapolis, Kelvin Hoefler continued his dominance with his second gold medal in Men’s Skateboard Street. Qualifying first in Friday’s Street Round One competition, Hoefler looked unbeatable from the start of the final. His first run scored a 92.33, enough to earn him the gold; however, he bettered that score by two points in his second run for an impressive 94.33 that the rest of the field couldn’t match. Jagger Eaton earned the silver medal with an 88.00 and Felipe Gustavo took bronze with an 83.66.

“I skated really good on my two runs,” said Hoefler. “I feel so blessed to skate that good. I get lucky sometimes – I got lucky today, I think!”

Finnish rider Jaakko Ojanen earned his spot in the final by winning the Norwegian Qualifier earlier in the evening.
