SEC Network and ESPNU Serve Up Extensive Soccer and Volleyball Slate

SEC Network will once again provide expansive coverage of Southeastern Conference soccer and volleyball this season. More than 80 matchups are set for SEC Network and ESPNU, with an additional 350+ contests available via SEC Network+.

NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer
The women’s soccer season on ESPN networks kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. on SEC Network when No. 5 South Carolina hosts in-state rival Clemson. Highlights for 2018 include:

  • Top-Ranked: 12 of the nation’s preseason top-25 set to appear, including No. 5 South Carolina, No. 7 Florida, No. 11 Texas A&M and No. 25 Tennessee
  • A top-ten matchup and SEC showdown when the No. 7 Florida Gators travel to No. 5 South Carolina on Sunday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
  • Thursday Night Soccer on SEC Network: beginning Sept. 13, SEC Network will air a soccer game every week; ESPNU will also air games each Sunday
  • Once again, the SEC Soccer Tournament will be telecast live on SEC Network

NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball
ESPN’s women’s volleyball schedule boasts more than 120 regular season games across ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network and Longhorn Network. The action begins Friday, Aug. 24, at 8 p.m. on SEC Network when No. 22 Michigan State travels to Tennessee. Highlights for 2018 include:

  • More than half of the nation’s top-25 teams will make appearances on ESPN networks, including No. 5 Kentucky and No. 7 Florida
  • Top-5 Showdown: No. 3 Texas hosts No. 5 Kentucky on Friday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. on LHN
  • Wednesday and Friday Night Volleyball: Fans can watch volleyball every Wednesday, with matchups on both SEC Network and ESPNU, as well as every Friday on SEC Network

In total, fall sports on ESPN networks will see more than 3,000 contests, and every game is available via the ESPN App on connected devices. In total, 15 conferences will be represented this season with full information available here.
