College Football Week 7: No. 15 Wisconsin at No. 12 Michigan on ABC’s Saturday Night Football and No. 1 Alabama on ESPN in Prime-Time Highlight ESPN’s Networks Slate

  • No. 7 Washington at No. 17 Oregon in 3:30 p.m. Window
  • No. 9 Texas Plays First Game as a Top 10 Team Since 2010; No. 10 UCF, No. 14 Florida and No. 16 Miami Also in Conference Matchups

ABC and the ESPN networks will feature matchups of ranked Big Ten and Pac-12 teams in addition to No. 1 Alabama, No. 9 Texas, No. 10 UCF, No. 14 Florida and No. 16 Miami in their own conference matchups as the fight for conference supremacy heats up in week 7.The slate also begins earlier this week, as the Sun Belt plays on Tuesday evening, and features a ranked American Athletic Conference team on Friday night. Overall, ESPN’s networks feature 14 ranked teams in October’s second week of action.

ABC’s Saturday Night Football: No. 15 Wisconsin and No. 12 Michigan Look to Avoid a Key Second Loss; College GameDay Built by The Home Depot Sets the Scene
ABC’s Saturday Night Football will televise No. 15 Wisconsin at No. 12 Michigan (7:30 p.m. ET) from Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich., in a Big Ten showdown of teams looking to avoid a critical second loss on the season. In the last two seasons, the Badgers-Wolverines have split matchups with one another, with each squad winning in its home stadium. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Maria Taylor will be on the call of the game.

College GameDay Built by The Home Depot (9 a.m. – noon) will also be in Ann Arbor, Mich., the show’s 13th time at a Michigan home game. Full details on the show will be announced later this week.

No. 7 Washington at No. 17 Oregon in Signature Pac-12 Matchup of the Week; No. 10 UCF Riding 18 Game Winning Streak Showcased
The late afternoon window will feature both No. 7 Washington at No. 17 Oregon and No. 10 UCF at Memphis (3:30 p.m.), as the games will air either on ABC or ESPN2 in a reverse mirror window. Similar to ABC’s Saturday Night Football matchup, both the Huskies and Ducks have one loss on the season, with the Huskies’ loss coming in non-conference play and the Ducks’ defeat in conference.  Sean McDonough, Todd Blackledge, and Holly Rowe will be in Eugene, Oregon, to broadcast the game.  

The No. 10 UCF Knights remain undefeated on the year and ride an 18-game winning streak into Memphis, as the Tigers look for the upset. Dave Lamont, Ray Bentley, and Alex Corddry will be in Memphis, Tenn., for the call.

No. 1 Alabama, No. 9 Texas, and No. 14 Florida Featured Separately in ESPN Tripleheader; Game Marks Longhorns First Game in Top 10 Since 2010
ESPN’s Saturday tripleheader features No. 1 Alabama, No. 9 Texas, and No. 14 Florida all in conference matchups, as the Gators head to Vanderbilt (noon), the Longhorns host Baylor (3:30 p.m.) and the Crimson Tide welcome in Missouri (7 p.m.). Of the three ranked teams, only the Gators have a conference loss on the season. The Longhorns will be playing as a top 10 team for the first time since the 2010 season, while Alabama will look to continue its streak atop the rankings with another SEC victory.

Additional ESPN Networks Week 7 Highlights

  • Welcome Back: 23 South Florida at Tulsa play on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. as the Bulls joined the ranked teams this week.
  • Canes Head North: 16 Miami will head to Virginia, with the ACC matchup held in prime-time on ESPN2 (7 p.m.).
  • SEC Network Features Ranked Teams: SEC Network features No. 21 Auburn and No. 22 Texas A&M in separate SEC games as the Tigers host Tennessee (noon) and the Aggies go to South Carolina (3:30 p.m.).
  • Fun Belt Kicks Off Tuesday/Wednesday Season Slate: ESPN’s slate of early week games begin in week 7, as Appalachian State is at Arkansas State (8 p.m.) on Tuesday, Oct. 9, in Fun Belt action. Through the end of the season, 13 games total from the MAC and Sun Belt will be played on either night across ESPN’s networks.

ESPN+ Streams its 175th Game This Season
ESPN+ will stream nearly 30 more games this week, including four conference matchups in the MAC, three in Conference USA, one in the Sun Belt. After this week, the first year subscription service will have streamed more than 175 college football games already this season.
