ESPN to Broadcast All-Star Weekend Internationally

2019 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Exclusively on ESPN

ESPN’s The Jump and First Take will broadcast live from the North Club Lounge at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on Thursday and Friday leading into NBA All-Star Weekend. The Jump, hosted by Rachel Nichols, will air at 3 p.m. ET both days featuring a cast of high-profile analysts, reporters and guests including Khris Middleton, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen, Ben Simmons, Miles Bridges, Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Scottie Pippen, Rasheed Wallace, Stephen Jackson, Sue Bird, Amin Elhassan and Tom Thibodeau. First Take, ESPN’s popular morning debate show hosted by Molly Qerim Rose featuring sports commentators Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman, will air at 10 a.m. and feature a lineup of sports and entertainment guests including Muggsy Bogues, De’Aaron Fox, Isaiah Thomas, Mike Conley Jr, JB Smoove and Scottie Pippen. Both shows are free and open to the public. Friday’s 6 p.m. SportsCenter will broadcast live from Charlotte with anchor Sage Steel courtside at Bojangles’ Coliseum.

ESPN will provide international coverage for all prime NBA All-Star events including the Celebrity Game, Rising Stars, All-Star Saturday and Sunday’s 68th NBA All-Star Game. The international broadcast will air live on ESPN platforms throughout Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean and Pacific Rim and through brand-licensing partners in Canada (TSN), China (Tencent) and India (Sony).

ESPN Radio will broadcast from Charlotte, with complete weekend coverage for Rising Stars (9 p.m.), All-Star Saturday (8 p.m.) and an exclusive radio broadcast of the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 8:00 p.m.

Top ESPN NBA Reporters, Adrian Wojnarowski, Brian Windhorst, Tim Bontemps, Dave McMenamin, Nick Friedell, Kevin Pelton, and Jonathan Givony will be on-site providing day-to-day All-Star digital coverage for and ESPN’s social platforms.

The 2019 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Ruffles, will air exclusively on ESPN, Friday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. from Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C. Cassidy Hubbarth will return as the host with play-by-play voice Mark Jones providing commentary. ESPN Analyst and WNBA All-Star, Chiney Ogwumike will serve as a roaming analyst, with popular television and radio personality Peter Rosenberg.

ESPN Wednesday:

The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Houston Rockets at 8 p.m. for ESPN’s Feb. 13 NBA Wednesday lineup. Mark Jones will call the action with analyst Doris Burke and reporter Adam Schefter. In the 10:30 p.m. nightcap, The Golden State Warriors travel to Portland to face the Trail Blazers.  Dave Pasch will be courtside with analyst Mark Jackson.

I began my sports career as a small forward for JCPS #9’s elementary basketball team, and then years later gave up my hoop dreams (sort of) to work as the Public Relations Coordinator for the New York Knicks. Prior to working in sports, I briefly worked as an intern turned production assistant for the Wendy Williams Show. I earned a B.A. in Communications from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, where I met my husband Matthew, and later attended New York University to earn a M.S. in Public Relations and Corporate Communications.
