ESPN and ESPN2 Showcase Top Four College Softball Teams This Week

  • No. 1 UCLA and No. 3 Florida State on ESPN2; No. 2 Oklahoma and No. 4 Alabama on ESPN; No. 5 LSU on ESPNU

ESPN remains the No. 1 destination for college softball coverage with the top five softball teams in the country and 12 ranked teams total featured throughout, 14 games on its television networks and more than 130 games available digitally this week alone.

It all starts tonight (April 3) at 7 p.m. with No. 3 Florida State at No. 9 Florida on ESPN2 and Texas State at No. 11 Texas on Longhorn Network. Beth Mowins, Michele Smith and Amanda Scarborough will be on the call for the Gator/Seminole showdown and Alex Loeb and Megan Willis will be on duty in Austin.  Saturday’s slate (April 6) features the four remaining top five teams:

  • 1 UCLA at No. 19 Arizona State at 5 p.m. on ESPN2
  • 4 Alabama at South Carolina at 6 p.m. on ESPN
  • 5 LSU at Mississippi State at 6 p.m. pm ESPNU
  • Baylor at No. 2 Oklahoma at 8 p.m. on ESPN

It’s week five of Mic’d Up Monday and Tennessee head coach Karen Weekly is on deck. Look for both Coach Weekly to be mic’d up for the entirety of the No. 7 Lady Vols matchup against the No. 14 Auburn Tigers.
