ESPN Sunday Night Baseball Season Finale: Philadelphia Phillies at Cleveland Indians on September 22

Both Clubs Vying for Coveted Wild Card Spots

ESPN today announced its game selection for the season finale of Sunday Night Baseball Presented by Taco Bell: the Philadelphia Phillies and Bryce Harper will visit the Cleveland Indians and Francisco Lindor. The telecast will begin at a special start time of 6:30 p.m. ET. Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown Presented by Chevrolet will air from 6-6:30 p.m.

As of September 9, the Cleveland Indians are 1.5 games behind the Oakland Athletics for the second American League Wild Card spot. The Philadelphia Phillies are currently two games behind the Chicago Cubs for the second National League Wild Card spot.

Matt Vasgersian will provide commentary on ESPN, alongside World Series Champion and analyst Alex Rodriguez, Olympic Gold Medalist and analyst Jessica Mendoza and reporter Buster Olney. Jon “Boog” Sciambi will describe the action on ESPN Radio with analyst Chris Singleton.

Sunday Night Baseball is available on ESPN, the ESPN App, ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes.

On deck: the New York Mets host the Los Angeles Dodgers on the September 15 edition of Sunday Night Baseball at 7 p.m.
