The CJ McCollum Show debuted its premiere episode Thursday across all major podcast platforms. Every week, New Orleans Pelicans star CJ McCollum will discuss the biggest names and storylines in and around the NBA with inside perspective you can only get from someone in the locker room and on the floor.

“I’m excited about the partnership with ESPN and continuing an off-court dream of mine. For me, it’s always been a part of my identity,” said McCollum. “I went to Lehigh University — I majored in journalism, I minored in mass communication and sociology. There’s always been an emphasis on storytelling and wanting to be authentic about the ways in which I share. It all started with watching SportsCenter. It started with watching Stuart Scott, may he rest in peace. It started with me being able to see someone holding a mic and interview someone after a game. And I thought to myself, ’I want to be the one to hit the game winner, but I want to have the skills to interview the person that hits the game winner, too.’”
