ESPN reporter Marion Crowder is set to join the SEC Nation team for the upcoming season, rounding out the crew. Beginning this fall, Crowder will join SEC Network’s weekly traveling show on campus at SEC schools across the South, bringing fans all they need to know ahead of the week’s biggest matchups.
“I’m incredibly honored to join the SEC Nation team,” said Crowder. “This conference has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a family where Saturdays revolved around SEC football and I was fortunate enough to experience the conference firsthand as a student-athlete. Those experiences have given me an appreciation for just how much this conference means – not only to the athletes, but to the fans, families and communities that make SEC football unlike anything else.”
In the fall, Crowder will join new host Matt Barrie and new desk analyst Chase Daniel, as well as returning voices Paul Finebaum, Roman Harper and Tim Tebow as they chat through the top SEC matchups each week.
Crowder is no stranger to all things Southeastern Conference, as she has served as a college soccer analyst for the network since 2022. Additionally, Crowder was a standout at the University of Georgia (2013-17), leading the Bulldogs scoring efforts in three of her four seasons.
She also holds the record at Georgia for the most points in a single game (8) and most goals scored in a single game (4). She ranks fourth overall in the record books with 65 points score and third overall with 29 goals scored.
“There isn’t a conference with more history, more passion or more personality than the SEC, said Crowder. “It’s a conference that means so much to so many, myself included. To have the opportunity to be part of telling those stories is incredibly special. I’m excited to hit the road this fall, celebrate the people who make this conference the best in the country and contribute to an SEC Nation team that I’ve admired for years!”
Most recently, Crowder served as ESPN’s reporter at Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, which scored its highest rating on record.

Closer to the college football season, ESPN will provide site locations and additional details about SEC Nation, whichreturns to tailgates, stadiums and sidelines this fall – with plans to attend top matchups each week across the Southeastern Conference.
