Fantasy Sports Commentator

Daniel Dopp is a fantasy sports commentator at ESPN, currently serving as host of the Fantasy Focus Football podcast alongside Field Yates, Mike Clay, and Stephania Bell. The show streams weekdays at 10 a.m. ET on YouTube, with three weekly simulcasts on ESPN2 during the NFL season. He is also a co-host of Fantasy Football Now on ESPN2, airing Sundays at 10 a.m. ET.

In addition, Dopp contributes regularly to ESPN’s Fantasy Football coverage across digital platforms, focusing on rankings and daily fantasy. He also provides sports betting analysis and offers insight into the world of best ball leading into the season. During football season, Dopp appears weekly on SportsCenter, featured in Waiver Wire segments.

Dopp transitioned into a full-time on-air role in 2021 after co-hosting ESPN’s Fantasy Show with Matthew Berry for five years across ESPN2 and ESPN+, as well as spending seven years producing Fantasy Focus and other flagship ESPN podcasts. He began his ESPN career as an ESPN Radio intern working on SVP & Russillo, officially joining the company in 2013.

Originally from Midland, Mich., Dopp is a six-year U.S. Air Force veteran who served as an Intelligence Analyst from 2006-12. He graduated valedictorian from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla. Outside of sports media, he is an avid music fan, proud wearer of band t-shirts, and a passionate Detroit sports supporter, especially the Detroit Lions.
