Rematch! College GameDay Covered by State Farm Heads to Charlottesville as Virginia and Duke Face Off in Another Top-5 Matchup

College GameDay Covered by State Farm will make its way to Charlottesville, Va., on Saturday, Feb. 9, as No. 3 Virginia and No. 2 Duke face off in another top-five matchup. The traveling pregame college basketball show, hosted by Rece Davis with analysts Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams, returns to John Paul Jones Arena, beginning at 11 am. ET on ESPN.

The show precedes the Saturday Primetime Presented by H&R Block matchup between the Cavaliers and Blue Devils (6 p.m., ESPN). Bilas will join Dan Shulman and Maria Taylor to call the Sonic Blockbuster game.

This will be GameDay’s fourth visit to Virginia, and the sixth time the Cavaliers have appeared in a game that College GameDay has originated from. Duke has 17 total appearances prior to next weekend’s show, tied with Kansas and Kentucky for second-most appearances on the show.

The College GameDay site will be announced one week prior to the show, ensuring visits to sites of top storylines and games appearing on ESPN networks each week.

It was always a dream of mine to work at ESPN, and here I am! I joined the College Sports PR team in March 2016. Hailing from the great Garden State, I graduated from Seton Hall University (Go Pirates!) with a degree in sport management, where I not only sang the National Anthem at games, but was also a member of the Seton Hall Sapphires Dance Team and a student reporter for Pirate Sports Network. Before joining ESPN, I served as a Public Relations Associate for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
